Chapter 2
"Leaving already?"
She can hear the smile in his voice as he says it, and she laughs, looking for her bra that's thrown somewhere on the floor.
"I can't very well let you have it all the first night, can I?"
He chuckles lightly.

She finds her dress and puts it on quickly, waving and moving towards the door when he interrupts her yet again.
"What if I'm not done with you yet?"
Justine turns around and smiles when she finds him sitting up. He has a hilariously distressed look on his face that she can't help but to find adorable on a grown man like him.
"You'll have something to look forward to"

She waves at him and prepares to leave again when she can feel him behind her, holding her tightly. Blackquill's arms are strong around her, and even if he does smell a bit musky from the previous activities, she can't help but almost purr as he does.
"When can I see you again?"
"When can I see you again?"
Bless him, Justine thinks, he actually sounds worried he won't.
"I'll get back to you," she says and grins as he sighs against her cheek. She spins around in his arms and kisses his forehead gently.
"Soon, babe. I promise"
After that she gently untangles herself from him and leaves into the night.

She knows how to do things like this. She's done it plenty of times before, she thinks as she sits down on a platform along the dark road, lighting a cigarette with practiced familiarity, she's done it before and it shouldn't be any different.
Somehow it is.
Somehow it is.
It's a harder job than usual, that goes without saying. The concept itself is fairly standard - seduce the target, get the info, report to Leroy, eliminate the target and collect the reward. Simple enough, except the man she's dealing with is one of the most well known and well guarded people in SimCity as of right now.
He's comfortably cruising among the absolute top of the political ladder and he plays the government like a puppet.
She sighs and takes a deep puff of her cigarette.

He does seem so clueless in a way, though. Justine would have never expected it to be so easy to get close so early on, because she was told that his trust wasn't easily given and she would have to work for it. Put up her best act, as one would say.
Leroy said that he would be a very tough nut to crack.
But this is going to be way harder than she ever expected.

She calls him a couple of days later - long enough to make him go a little bit crazy for her, but not long enough for him to forget.
"Suzanne?" he says as soon as he picks up, and she laughs a bit, and she can hear him let out a breath of relief.
"I thought you'd never call"
"Do they usually do after you've given them the goods?"

He goes quiet for a second before he answers.
"Usually is a bit strong of a word, I suppose," he says, and Justine can hear the smile in his voice, "but you did promise, love"
"I guess I did," she says, "however, I would like my interview with you, if you don't mind. When we're even getting along so well, I mean"

Blackquill pretends to think about it for a moment but it's no surprise when he responds, a little too eagerly to be considered professional.
"Let me take you out to dinner," he asks, "you get your exclusive story and I get to enjoy your company. Deal?"
She smirks.
"Deal"
Maybe this wasn't going to be so hard after all.
